If you take it literally, you do not make money. The government makes the money – you only work hard to earn them. If people can make money, they won’t work anymore. They will just keep on printing billions and trillions of money to their own liking and satisfaction.

However, looking at it in a philosophical way, people do make money. The question is, how do they make it? It’s pretty easy if you think about working. But that entails determination and hard work. Money is the price of all commodities including selling yourself through your capacity, talent and knowledge. Without anything to buy from you, there’s nothing to pay for.

If you’re not making enough money, make yourself worth other people’s money. You can start this by first accepting defeat. Defeat in the light of knowing that you are asking for people’s money but you have no choice because you have to work for it. Having this simple and humble disposition in life will lead you to greater places. If you are just beginning your first steps in the money making industry, be nice and show people you’re worth what they’re paying you for. If they end up liking you – that’s how you’ll make a lot of money! How, you ask? Promotion!
